Great Cooks is thrilled to bring you this award- winning, organic extra virgin olive oil produced and bottled in 2006-2007 by Stefano Ranaldi of Le Sorgenti.

This farm is nestled in the heart of the Maremma region of Tuscany, in a hilly area near the village of Scansano, an unpolluted area rich in Mediterranean flora and fauna. The farm’s 19 acres are planted with a variety of olives which are hand gathered and delivered to the mill within 1-2 hours of being harvested. This oil has a rich green colour with a touch of natural cloudiness; a fresh, fruity nose; a crisp, pungent aroma and an intense, olive-driven finish.

Once opened, a bottle of oil should be used within a reasonably short time; it should always be kept well sealed and in a cool, dark place.
